There was nothing but good times. I saw Cameron Diaz walking down the street on 5th Ave. We also got around to visiting Greenwich Village where we found little basement bars that had Beer Pong tables.
One night, we even dressed up all fancy and had drinks at the Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of the Rockefeller Plaza. From there we went to some really nice restaurant, Nougatine, where we had this crazy four course meal for only $35. We ended the night off drinking cans of Coors Original out of paper bags in Central Park.
I love that city. Here's some pictures of our trip:
Times Square
At the Rainbow Room
In Battery Park, where Jay and I bought $12 Rolex's.
FAO Schwartz
Hanging out in Hell's Kitchen

Great pictures, maybe I will get there someday.
I went for a bike ride tonight & didn't fall & smash my head this time, it was actually fun.

Hey Branden: My first 'drink' was in the Village when I was 16. Fun times. What was the hostel like? How skinny was Diaz? The pictures say so much - I would love to hear more about your trip when you get some time! Susan
Branden: what part of Hell's Kitchen was that?
Aunt Susan
The hostel was actually pretty nice. It was just a room with two bunk beds in it and a little desk. We had to share the bathrooms with the 3 other rooms on the floor but they were clean and well-kept. It was only $39/night for each of us and we were only a block from Times Square.
Cameron Diaz was super skinny, actually. That was the thing I noticed about her right away. She was a special guest that night on
SNL. So it makes sense that we would see her on 5th Ave right as we were leaving Rockefeller Plaza.
We mostly stayed on 7th Ave between 50th and 37th Streets in Hell's Kitchen. We just would go along and try to find hole-in-the-wall places to have beer. There was definitely some real finds there.
